Dependant on our availability and the availability of the seller, we generally swoop in to complete your inspection within 1-3 business days of your booking.

Our pre-purchase car inspections can be carried out almost anywhere in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.

We generally visit the seller’s home or workplace, with the inspection to be carried out in a driveway, a quiet road, or a car park. Our mechanics can also carry-out an inspection at car yards, dealerships and auction houses.

The majority of inspections we handle are without the prospective buyer present. It’s all about making things more convenient for you!

However, you are more than welcome to attend if you wish. We would love to say hi!

We service the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area. If the car you like is within our service zone, our pre-purchase vehicle inspection services are tailor-made for you.

Yes. We roll up our sleeves to dive into the vehicle’s service book (if they have it!) and all those service invoices to get the full scope on its history.

Plus, we’ll have our eyes peeled for any big-ticket service items that may have been missed or are on the horizon.

All inspections are to be paid in full when the booking is made. If you have a change of heart or the vehicle finds a new home before we do our thing, you can receive a refund.

Our reports will present you with the facts about the condition of the vehicle we inspect. The inspection may find that the vehicle is in good condition and will leave you confident in your purchase.

Other times, inspections may uncover issues with the vehicle that need to be addressed. In some cases, faults found are repairable and you may still want to proceed with the purchase. The insights we provide will allow you to negotiate a better price to offset these repair costs.

However, we’re not here to give a thumbs-up or thumbs-down on buying anything.

Absolutely! If you’re interested in a car located on site with many others available, simply send us the lot number, ID, or rego of the vehicle.

If you’ve got more than one car catching your attention, we’re up for the challenge. Multiple inspections are no sweat. Just keep in mind that inspections for multiple vehicles will come with an additional charge.

Yes, our inspections do include a PPSR check (Personal Property Securities Register). We recommend a PPSR check to confirm whether the vehicle has been written off, stolen, or has finance owing on it.

You can also arrange a PPSR check yourself, with many third-party agencies providing them for a small cost.

Our reports provide a comprehensive overview of the vehicle’s condition. Curious to dig deeper into what the inspection and report cover? Check out our inspection and report inclusions here.

Although our inspections do take safety elements into account, they are not a state-issued roadworthy certificate.

Any vehicle currently registered in NSW has been approved for its safety inspection (pink slip). These are normally carried out by a mechanical workshop just before a vehicle’s registration is due for renewal.

We inspect a variety of vehicle types, from standard cars to European cars and four-wheel drives.
